Since the start of the #Whynotmepets campaign in April of 2015, we have featured over 144 pets from Washington state shelters and rescues. 14 year-old Gyro finally found his forever home after being homeless for 247 days, but found a home as a "Why Not Me? pet". Gyro was adopted by a volunteer's son who is an artist and now goes to work with him every day. They are best buddies, and Gyro loves being an artist's muse!
