BARK AT THE PARK
|
We have partnered with Seattle Mariners to bring some un-furrgettable adoptable dogs to their Bark at the Park events for the 2022 MLB season!
Our first Bark at the Park event on May 9 was a resounding success!!! Dog Gone Seattle and Motley Zoo Animal Rescue & Sanctuary brought their adorable, adoptable pooches and were definitely the STAR attraction of the night! TONS of people met and greeted these well-behaved and calm dogs. Check out the videos to see some of these adoptable dogs. Homeward Pet Adoption Center and Pasado's Safe Haven was also present to educate, inform and promote their adoptable dog. TONS of the cutest pooches with their Mariner's mom and pop fans played our "Spin-the-Wheel," and won prizes! And of course, to watch the baseball game as well... as in, the fans, not the dogs. Our next Bark at the Park event will be Monday, June 27, and we can't wait! We will be making FREE custom pet ID tags for any cat or dog (pet does not need to be present), and playing “Spin-the-Wheel,” and our partners Forgotten Dogs Rescue, Seattle Humane Society, and Sunny Sky's Animal Rescue will be bringing their adorable and adoptable dogs for this June event! Make sure to stop by and visit us and meet the adoptable dogs! The Bark at the Park dog-friendly baseball games occur on June 27, August 23, and September 28. Gates open at 5:10 pm for the public. Grab your tickets, for you and your four-legged friends, and get ready to head out to the old ball game on June 27! |
Pet Clothing & Supply Drive
Pawsitive Alliance provides essential pet supplies and ID to the pets to the people experiencing housing or financial instability in King County, we also deliver supplies to both human and animal welfare agencies across Washington. To support this work, we’ve partnered with Ridwell, a recycling company, that was started by a father and son, and who made a scrappy business into something very large.
Ridwell will be collecting donated pet products such as cool and warm weather clothing from July 11–22 from their Seattle customers. These donations will be put to good use for our various events and partners. If you are interested in hosting a pet supply drive to benefit pets in need, please contact us at info@pawsitivealliance.org! |

DUE TO SAFETY PRECAUTIONS FROM THE COVID PANDEMIC, we will be following the safety protocols of Washington's Governor and keeping everyone's safety in mind as we plan our activities. We miss seeing our community and appreciate your strong support of our vital programs. The need to increase adoptions, provide affordable spay and neuter services, and provide essential supplies and services to keep people and pets together is as important as ever. Past Events
Bailing Out Benji at Two Beers Brewing Co.
Whew.. what an event! There were so many adorable dogs and pups up for adoption, and seriously, it wasn't easy to choose for so many people looking to adopt. There was Kimia who held a puppy for the first time in her life, and fell in love! (See photo on the left). Then there was the couple who said they weren't quite ready yet, but kept going back to cuddle with some of Casa Dog's puppies. |
The adoption event was by Bailing Out Benji and was held at Two Beers Brewing Co. Animal rescue groups from Forgotten Dogs Rescue, Motley Zoo Animal Rescue, Saving Great Animals and Pasado's Safe Haven had their dogs and pups mingle with guests and potential adopters, who couldn't get enough of them.
Just check out all the cute, adorable dogs such as Mona, Lizzie, Rick, Mocha, Edel, Sadie, and many more! You simply won't be able to get enough. |
We handed out pet I.D. tags as part of our pet retention program in order to keep all pets safe and sound.

#WhyNotMePet paint contest winners of 2022!
February 21 2022 Congratulations Tammy, Zoey, Michiko and Violet!!! They are the winners of our February 5th paint event that was held jointly with Paws With Cause in Everett! Our winners, along with other participants, young and old, painted one of four #WhyNotMePets including Mr. Big, Bubba, Kenny and Moxie, to help them and other homeless pets find a loving home. Paws With Cause volunteers were on hand to guide and provide tips to everyone in order to bring our each and everyone's inner Van Gogh! Everyone had A LOT of fun, and even Pasado's Safe Haven's #WhyNotMePets, Akira was present. He definitely garnered a lot of attention, pets and cuddles! The winning painters garnered the most votes in our online contest, and have won the honor of having their paintings made into greeting cards. We will credit them, PLUS gift them a set of their very own greeting cards! Congratulations again to the winners and everyone else for participating! |
Valentine's e-card 2022
February 14 2022 It was that special time of the year to show our loved ones some extra love. People donated just $10 and we sent them a sweet Valentine e-card to share with their family, friends or special someone. And with a donation of $50, they also received a free photo package from Rachelle Erickson Design & Photography! The cards had photos of our #WhyNotMePets and was a big hit with everyone! Each and everyone of them looked so adorable, plus it was also meaningful knowing that the donations went towards supporting these homeless pets! |
