SPAY ~ NEUTER ~ ADOPT LICENSE PLATES
Did you know Washington State has a specialty license plate to support spay and neuter?
We are offering low-cost spay (female) and neuter (male) surgeries for dogs in Grant County in 2021 thanks to a grant from Washington Federation of Animal Care and Control Agencies (visit our Spay and Neuter Help page for info).
The plates can be purchased through the Department of Licensing and $28 of the purchase price goes to a Spay/Neuter Grant Program managed by our partners at Washington Federation of Animal Care and Control Agencies (WFACCA). WFACCA awards grants quarterly to Washington animal agencies for the purpose of increasing spay/neuter services.
Pawsitive Alliance has been a recipient of grant funds supported by these specialty plates, enabling us to increase affordable spay and neuter to pets of low-income or homeless individuals across our state, mostly in areas of high pet overpopulation.
Please consider purchasing one of these specialty plates, 100% of the funds generated through this program go directly into grants for spay/neuter programs for publicly owned and free-roaming animals in Washington.
For questions, or to locate vehicle licensing offices, visit the Washington State Department of Licensing.
