SNIP SNIP - Spay & Neuter Increase Program
The objective of this program is to increase the number of dog and cat spay and neuter surgeries being performed for free or at low cost. S.N.I.P. S.N.I.P. targets companion animals most likely to be euthanized in shelters; the program is flexible and responds to focus on areas (species and communities) of high need.
2013 areas of focus are Puget Sound and Yakima County and includes cats and medium to large breed dogs (40+ pounds). Activities include hosting clinics, offering vouchers, as well as working directly with individuals wanting to alter their dog(s) and/or cat(s) who cannot afford the surgery on their own.
