How You Can Help

There are many assistance options available for low-income and elderly individuals with pets. Click on the following links to learn more about them:

Volunteer Your Time
If you would like to help out numerous animal shelters and the animals in their care please contact us at volunteers@pawsitivealliance.org to help with our programs and events. Many things can be done from home and there are also opportunities to participate in events with dogs and cats in fun settings.

Make a Donation
Generous gifts from supporters like you are the primary source of funding for our programs that help animals in Washington's shelters. For example, your gift helps us:
  • Host adopt-a-thon events which bring several animal agencies together in one setting to adopt their animals, gaining additional exposure and opportunities for the animals to be adopted, thereby lowering euthanasia rates.
  • Provide a resource for low cost and free spay/neuter surgeries for the public, helping to control the number of unwanted animals being born.
  • Support community awareness by offering informational resources to the public.
Pawsitive Alliance depends upon public donations to continue its work. You can help! Making a donation through our secure server is fast and easy, and when we receive your donation, we will send you an acknowledgement in the mail for tax purposes. Click the button below to make a donation. Thank you for your support!

Please note: We use a nonprofit service to process our credit card transactions. GIVEDIRECT is the name that will appear on your credit card statement, not Pawsitive Alliance. Using a third party helps us keep our costs low and allows us to spend more time and money on our programs!

With the GIVEDIRECT credit card processing service, no fees are taken on your Visa or Mastercard donation. We receive 100% of your gift. A low fee of 2.85% is deducted from American Express donations.

Or, mail your donation, with checks payable to Pawsitive Alliance:

Fix-A-Pit Program
You can help spay and neuter pit bulls in King and Snohomish counties of Washington and reduce the high numbers being relinquished and euthanized in our shelters. Sponsor a spay or neuter surgery today for only $25.00 and start helping immediately!

Your sponsorship will enable us to offer free spay and neuter services for pit bulls whose owners could not otherwise afford to have the surgery done. This will help prevent unwanted litters being born and turned in to animal shelters. Pit bulls currently make up the highest number of any breed euthanized today in our shelters. Sponsor a spay or neuter today and in return you receive a Certificate of Sponsorship from Pawsitive Alliance and more importantly, you will know that you are helping reduce the number of unwanted pit bulls in our communities.

Our mission is to end the killing of homeless dogs and cats. We need the help of the community to make this happen. Make a donation and 100% goes directly to spay/neuter surgeries.

Visit www.understand-a-bull.com today to help dispel the myths that are hurting this breed.

Do you need help with the cost of spaying or neutering your pit bull or pit bull mix? Click here to learn how the Fix-A-Pit program can help you.
