Picture
Hula dancing, Hawaiian music, shaved ice, balloons, and adorable adoptable dogs and cats from 13 Washington State animal rescue organizations all came together to create a fun and successful Adoption Event on September 9th at Denny's Pet World in Kirkland!

The day was full of cheers and happy tails and by the end of the Event more than 60 dogs and cats had found their forever homes!

Super Pet Adoption Event a Super Success!

Picture
People from across the state came out for our two day Adoption Event on August 10th & 11th in Union Gap to help super people find some super pets!

Despite the heat we kept our cool with over 250 animals available to adopt. By the end of the weekend 159 lives were saved. The outpouring of community support for this event was impressive and it is apparent that the community is activated in their support of adoption and spay/neuter!

For more photos of the event, check out our album for the event here.

More than 50 dogs find new things to drool over at "April Drools"

Picture
People were cheering and puppies were howling at Paws-Abilities Total Dog Center where we held our April Drools Adoption Event on April 15, 2012!

Fourteen groups from all around Washington brought in their animals in the hopes of finding them forever homes. The results were great— over 50 dogs went home to snuggle with their new families!

A huge thank you to Paws-Abilities Total Dog Center and all the vendors that came out for everything they did to make it a successful Adoption Event!

Thank you also to the Pawsitive Alliance volunteers who came out and worked hard and cheered even harder for every dog who got a new home that day!

Thirty seven cats find more reasons for "Leaps & Bounds"

Picture
We held our cat-centric Adoption Event, Leaps & Bounds, on March 4, 2012 at Homeward Pet Adoption Center in Woodinville, and five groups from all around Washington brought in their kitties in the hopes of finding them forever homes. The results were great—16 cats went home to snuggle with their new families!

Also, the NOAH Center stopped by with their van to pick up 21 kitties from the eastern Washington groups who had attended and to take them back up to the NOAH facility where they will have a greater chance at finding good homes…and the eastern WA folks got to go home with empty vans. That was really a win-win-win situation for all people and kitties involved!

A huge thank you to Homeward Pet Adoption Center and all their volunteers for everything they did to make it a successful Adoption Event!
