A Canine Christmas Extravaganza!

Noon - 3pm

A holly, jolly time had by all at “A Canine Christmas Extravaganza!” Adoption Event!

Hundreds of people waited eagerly in line on Sunday, December 11th to get in and start adopting at “A Canine Christmas Extravaganza!” Adoption Event! Nineteen shelters and rescues from all over Washington traveled over the river, and through the snow, to Paws-Abilities Total Dog Center in Fife to join in the fun and find their pups new homes. Ninty-one dogs and puppies had their wishes come true as their new families whisked them home for snuggles and fun just in time for Christmas.

Two such puppies were adopted by this proud new doggie dad whose daughter told us she was naming them Dora and Boots (in honor of Dora the Explorer!)

The Tacoma News Tribune came out and took some great photos of the fun, check them out here, and Seattle DogSpot did a very nice article about their experience at the event, and even took a video!

We want to express our deep thanks to Jennifer and Dana Babb, and all the amazing folks at Paws-Abilities Total Dog Center for providing us with such a fantastic space to host our event in and for so much help throughout, and also to our great group of volunteers who came out and did anything, and everything, to make this event a success!

Much thanks to our friend Sissie Boatman-Guillan from PawPrints Pet Photography who took the “Just Adopted!” photos of the new happy families; you can check out the smiles and tail wags here. And finally, thanks to Tom Bihn Bags, MudBay, and PetHub for the donations they made for Pawsitive Alliance to distribute to new pet families at the event!
