2006
In 2006 Pawsitive Alliance hosted five separate multi-rescue adoption events, including our Spring Adoptathon! Our organization takes care of the logistics related to the event (press release, newspaper ads, flyer, other advertising, venue coordination, providing extra volunteers when needed) so the adoption agencies are able to focus on the care of their animals. From these five events approximately 177 animals were adopted. Increasing adoptions and the number of animals altered will help relieve the number of homeless animals that burden our society.

2005
In 2005, our inaugural year, Pawsitive Alliance hosted 'All Dogs Day' in honor of National Homeless Animals Day. 16 dog rescue organizations joined together to help find new homes for the more than 30 adoptable dogs present. Animals were required to be spayed or neutered before the event to help control pet overpopulation.

We also joined in the national Home for the Holidays Campaign and brought together six animal rescues from across Washington. This event was a special opportunity for animals in the more rural parts of the state to have greater exposure. More than 50 animals were adopted that day. Animals were required to be spayed or neutered before the event to help control pet overpopulation.
