My name is Daisy, and I’m excited to find my forever home! I’m a 9 year old Manx who has been nicknamed “the goat” by my foster family. What can I say, I really love to bump my head and grunt at things!
It’s fun to wander around bump my head on everything I can find, walls, doors, cabinets, people, everything! I am still discovering what it means to be a cat.
I was a bottle fed kitten and resided with an elderly caretaker for much of my life, so I never saw the big outside world. When I was sent to the shelter I was very overweight. I was overwhelmed by noise, and I didn’t realize there were other cats besides myself! I was a bit self-conscious, but I have since lost a lot of weight, and I’m back to an active, fit cat. I am learning how to live with a bit more noise, and finding out there are a lot of fun things that I can do with my people — they’re wonderful to curl up and sleep beside, they have great treats and toys!
My foster family, Purrfect Pals, and your own veterinarian would be happy to discuss how to keep my joints healthy. I am currently eating a very tasty diet that helps maintain my kidney health so I can live a long and happy life. My ideal home would be calm and quiet and I would need to be the only cat. I’m learning to warm up to other cats, but I can’t help but be intimidated sometimes, and I instinctively try and defend myself. I look forward to sharing all my love with my future family, just ask Purrfect Pals about how you can come meet me!
